Meet Dr. Sandy Ku

Dr. Sandy Ku was born in Taiwan and grew up in Yorba Linda, California. As a third-generation dentist, her passion for dentistry began in her parents' dental office and further blossomed during college through her involvement in dental mission trips. She originally studied biomedical engineering at UC Irvine but later pivoted to dentistry, graduating in the top 10% of her class at the Western University of Health Sciences. She completed advanced education in general dentistry at UCLA before pursuing her passion for periodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago, where she earned an advanced certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, as well as a Master of Science in Oral Sciences focusing on cancer genetics research. Dr. Ku’s mission is to care for patients like family, offering a warm and welcoming approach to advanced periodontal care.
